For the final research for publication, we were required to summarise the dissertation book into a simple journal article. The article only allows a limited number of words and we had to select only the most important parts of our dissertation to be included in the paper.

Final Reflection:

Last semester when we first started Design Research Methodology, I imagined that writing a research paper was going to be really difficult and almost unachievable. Now, after finishing my dissertation, I feel like it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Because we did everything in steps, it was easy to accomplish each task - and the next thing you know the dissertation is already finished! I think these two modules have helped me a lot in my research, writing, and thinking skills. Plagiarism in graphic design is a very prominent issue that should be discussed more in the design community, so I hope my dissertation is the start of this conversation. Moreover, I also hope to continue studying and keeping an eye on what others think of plagiarism in the design field, and hopefully later on I could continue with a proper study of it as well.
