REFLECTION
Experience: This module has had many ups and downs but finally it has come to an end. At the start, I was quite excited for this module because of being able to create a book from scratch- writing it, designing the spreads and cover, and printing it (but not really). I think my excitement died down gradually as the workload, not only for this module but other modules as well, was increasing. This semester has definitely been the toughest so far.
Observation: I noticed that pretty much most of my classmates were feeling the same way regarding the workload from this semester. Not only speaking about this class, but a number of my other friends in other specialisations deferred because they felt like the workload was too overwhelming. Obviously because we are entering our 2nd year things would start to get amped up. It was a tough ride and I'm glad I stuck through.
Findings: Despite all the stress and all-nighters, in the end we were able to produce a book that we wrote from scratch and designed ourselves. Being able to see the end product is quite satisfying, and it would definitely be even more satisfying if I were to print it out and hold it as a tangible object.
